This plug-in creates a welded single mesh. It keeps all Poser named surfaces and imports ALL morphs. It can join multi-part morphs into body level morphs. Strata 3D: Pose imports all material colors, texture, trans and bump maps and settings, and applies them correctly. It also imports the Poser skeleton and joint positions and correctly parents all bones.
Strata 3D: Pose can load multiple figures and props from a file, each as a separate object. It loads Poser CR2, CRZ, HR2, HRZ, PP2, PPZ, PZ3 and PZZ files. Strata 3D CX includes a new weight map system which allow you to scale, move, rotate and parent props and secondary figures that were in the CR2 file. It can load Poser4, 4Pro, 5 and 6 format models; however it does not import animation from these files.

Strata 3D: Pose, Strata 3D: MoCap, and Strata 3D: Morph have been designed to accomplish two main goals: to enable Strata users access to the most sophisticated character animation figures available at low cost to the general market and to simplify the process of creating realistic animations.
Figures designed for the Poser market come in up to 75K polygon meshes, some with over 3,000 preinstalled body and animation morphs, with complete skeletons and with multi surface discontinuous UV texture mapping. In other words, it includes everything that is needed for high end character animation work.
In the past accessing these features has been very difficult. Tools available to date have only been able to load single OBJ file mesh shells, leaving out morphs and skeletons and requiring re-texturing. For the first time in the industry, Strata is including a Poser compatible mesh deformer. Joints will bend in Strata the same as they do in Poser. You no longer have to spend hours adjusting weight maps before using Poser models.
