S T R A T A - 3D Power Summer Seminars

Strata is pleased to announce a new series of free seminars. The content for the "3D Power Summer Seminars" will center on the new and exciting Strata 3D[in] plug-ins for Photoshop CS3 Extended. These seminars will cover topics ranging from a basic introduction of each of the Strata 3D[in] plug-ins to high end projects that utilize Photoshop and the 3D[in] plug-ins in extremely powerful ways.

Strata will host the online seminars every Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. Mountain Daylight Time through the end of September.

Important: The seminars will be held online and require only a browser and the latest version of Flash installed. In preparation for the seminars, you may want to ensure that your plugins are up to date: Install Flash. The link to enter the Connect room for each seminar will be posted to this page shortly before the seminar in question, and details on connecting will be sent in the reminder email. It's a good idea to sign up for reminders for all the classes you're interested in so you don't miss any important information on attending, although that info will be posted here as well, but only for a short time before the seminar.

August 14th and August 21st
The Power of the Strata 3D[in] Plug-ins within Photoshop CS3

This seminar introduces you to all three new plug-ins; Strata Design 3D[in], Strata Foto 3D[in], and Strata Live 3D[in].

You will learn how to:

Match the perspective in a Photoshop document and place 3D objects into it.
Model new objects or modify existing objects with a wide range of 3D tools.
Render final scenes using Strata's award winning rendering technology.
Generate 3D models from photographs shot with a standard digital camera.
Create real-time interactive 3D content for both web sites and PDF documents.

August 28th - Ask the Pros: with Colin Smith

Colin is the owner of PhotoshopCafe.com and a best selling author published by the likes of McGraw Hill.

Along with a panel of Strata Creatives, Colin will take you to a new layer of creativity. He'll show you how to output 3D from Photoshop as a 3D PDF or web page. He'll teach you how to render out 3D content and control it in Photoshop.

Colin says, "You may have hesitated before, but with 3D layers and Strata's plug-ins, you're ready for 3D. Let me show you how this will change the way you work."

September 18th - Ask the Pros: with Dave Cross

You know Dave Cross from his work as director of training for the National Association of Photoshop Users (NAPP). As a relative new comer to 3D, Dave offers a fresh perspective on how to use 3D with Photoshop.

Along with a panel of Strata Creatives, Dave will show you how to add 3D objects to your designs, create models from photographs and turn Photoshop layouts into PDFs and web pages with live 3D objects.

Dave says, "It's new, it's radical and it will change your world."
