Use the Render command in the Render menu to begin the rendering process. You can render any active model, shape window, or camera window.
When you select the Render command, the Render dialog opens, allowing you to choose the rendering method, the level of anti-aliasing used, set the frame or number of frames to be rendered, and set the image size and resolution.
You can set the options and values in the dialog to previously defined settings. It can be one of the standard Strata 3D configurations; or, if you previously saved any of your own configurations from this dialog, they will also appear in the Custom submenu.
All of the renderers that are available as display methods in the modeling window are also available for rendering. These are useful for preliminary and test renders, and are available in the Render dialog. These include PointCloud, Outline, WireFrame, HiddenLine, Flat, and Shaded.
You can use the Render dialog, or you can use the Render tool at the bottom of the Tool palette. Use the pop-up to select which renderer and level of detail you want. With the Render tool selected, a single click in a window will start a rendering.
Or, you can Shift-click with the Render tool to summon the Render dialog.
