The Object tab of this palette handles most changes. The Transform tab lets you edit position, size and rotation, as well as changing the animation path type. The Texture tab handles texture editing, and is explained in the Textures chapter.
Spotlights, point lights, cameras and text objects can also be edited in the Object Properties palette. Spotlight and point light editing are explained in the Lights and Environment chapter.
