To show the Object Properties palette, use the shortcut "o." Press "o" again to condense the palette to show only the tabs.
To close the palette, select Hide Object Palette from the Windows menu, or click the palette's close button in the title bar.
When you make any change or enter text or numeric data in this palette, they do NOT take effect until you press the Enter, Return or Tab key. Other changes to the contents of the palette (checkboxes, radio buttons, etc.) occur immediately.
The Object Properties palette contains all of the information about the currently selected object. You can edit the selected object at any time from this palette.
When you select an object, the Object Properties palette changes to display that object's editable properties. The palette will have different controls, depending on the type of object you have selected.
The contents of the Object Properties palette apply to the selected object. If multiple objects are selected, the palette grays out.
If the selected tab contains additional settings, you can expand the Object Properties palette. To expand the Object Properties palette, select the Expert Mode command from the Plus menu, or click the arrow in the lower left corner.
