Creating twisted iron

This modeling tutorial shows how to create a twisted iron model, something similar to what would be seen in a twisted iron fence or railing. The first section shows the basic approach, the second shows how to also generate usable UV’s.

This tutorial includes the use of the UV editor, the rotation tool, nudging, specific numerical control, grids, guides and the extrude tool group.
