Quality Standards

Strata requires that submissions to its online store meet with certain quality standards. Though this standard is very subjective, it’s like the old saying about pornography: “I know it when I see it”. In this case, we know quality when we see it – and our users know it when they see it. Make sure that you create content that is designed and constructed in such a way that other users will want to use it – and be able to use it – without having to make changes. It’s one thing for a user to make changes to customize a design asset for their particular use, but if the asset is unusable out of the gate then that’s a problem. Strata reserves the right to reject any submission to the store that does not meet with our standards.

Mature Content

At Strata, we recognize the differences between artistic content that includes nudity, and content that is inappropriate for our site. Our policy is designed to accommodate the divergent subject matter of content published at Strata while ensuring that customers will have a professional experience on our site. We ask that all artists apply the following standards to their work as they publish it.

Prohibited Content

All content depicting explicit sexual contact, nudity of humans appearing to be under the age of 18, or otherwise deemed to be pornographic, obscene, or blatantly offensive is prohibited. Strata is the final arbiter as to what content is prohibited from our site.

No Nudity in Signature Image

Regardless of the content of your 3D model, your Signature Image must not include nudity. Please either show a clothed version of your model, a head only,  or a head and shoulders shot. If you need assistance in choosing an appropriate thumbnail, please contact storesupport@strata.com.

Content Copyright

Members submitting content to Strata have warranted that they are the copyright holders, or authorized agents of the copyright holders, for all content submitted. Violations of this warranty will not be tolerated by Strata, and typically will result in the permanent expulsion of the person who submitted the work. In some cases, a second chance for the seller to publish will be granted, at Strata’s discretion, based on the character of the infringement. In all cases, repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated from the system.
