Thanks for giving Design 3D CX 8 a try.

This free limited time trial gives you a fully functional version of the application. You can model, render, save, export – and everything else that’s possible in Design 3D CX.

You’ll want to do the following:

• Check your email for the receipt from Strata. This email will contain your download link for the trial. If you don’t find the email check your spam folder. You may want to follow up by marking strata.com emails as safe for future communication. Click the download link in the email to get your copy of the installer.
• Install the Design 3D app. Once you’ve downloaded the installer, do the following: Mac “Legacy” trial: mount the dmg file and drag-and-drop to install. x64 for Mac trial: Launch the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. PC trial: extract the files from the zip folder and then open the StrataDesign3DCXPC folder and double-click the StrataDesign3D_CX8_Setup.exe file, then follow the on-screen instructions.
• Launch Design 3D CX 8. Mac users: you’ll be able to find Design 3D CX 8 in your Applications folder. PC users: click on the Start/Windows menu in the lower left of your screen and you’ll see the addition of a Strata Design 3D CX 8 folder.
  
• Start the Trial. Once you’ve launched Design 3D, click on the Start Trial button in the upper left of the application’s start window. PC users: You may need to click on the keyhole icon in your task bar to bring the start window forward. Both Mac and PC users: next, click on the button in the lower right titled “Use Design 3D in Trial Mode”.
• Open the “Getting Started” dialog (accessible from Design 3D’s Help menu). The Getting Started dialog has a lot of great resources. You’ll want to do the “First Project” tutorial.
