This Design 3D 7.5 UV mapping tutorial demonstrates the use of the new Conform (unwrap) function using a package design type object. The new Conform function is based on a technology called Least Square Conformal Mapping.

    Very nice addition, I used to use Wings for this. I think though it is unfortunate that the UV seams have not visual representation like Wings. When cutting up a complex object it is nice to see what has been marked so far for cuts. I don’t count the select UV seams option as being a select action, is not the same thing.
