As we learn to model, we come upon situations that can bring our work to a screeching halt. In this tutorial I will take a mesh with some unidentified problems, and work through some methods to identify and fix those problems.

As a review, to see the colored cage which highlights the unwelded areas of the mesh, you need to
- Enable subdivision
- Enable the subdivision cage
- View in the main modeling window; or while in a polygon mesh edit session, work with “Hide Selections” view mode enabled.
