This UV mapping tutorial shows how to use the cylindrical map projection method to create UVs. It also shows how to make necessarily adjustments to these UVs in the UV editor. A demonstration of custom grids and subsets are also shown.

    Thanks Chris. This helps me to grasp the concepts a little better. UV mapping and texture mapping in general has always been my Achilles heel. I feel like I can model with the best of them sometimes, but the wheels start to fall off when the texturing and lighting start! 🙂
