Converting from one data type to another

This tutorial shows the pathways through which Design 3D can convert data from one format to another. It shows how primitives can become bezier structures which in turn can become polygon meshes. These polygon meshes can then drive a subdivision surface object. For an example of the Convert function and Skin and Extrude objects, go here For a second example of how these different data types can flow into each other to create an object, go here For a discussion on how bezier and polygon data types affect render performance, go here.
