Whisk: Part 1 (wires modeling) (SE/CX)

This beginning modeling tutorial shows how to create bezier curve data (using the blend tool) in Adobe Illustrator and take that into Design 3D SE (and CX) to create path extrude objects. It then shows how to arrange the resulting artwork to create the wire components of the whisk. This tutorial is done in Design 3D SE7, but can also be done in CX.

Using Design 3D, a simple project for beginners

This tutorial is designed for people who are new to Design 3D and want to get a general sense of what it's like to work within this application. It covers basic scene use, groups, polygon mesh manipulation, camera setup and light setup. Note: Design 3D CX interface is shown but the operations are the same for SE.

Cell Phone: Part 14 (texturing 3)

This texturing component, which is geared towards beginners, shows how to take data from a Photoshop file and move it over to Design 3D, creating several materials which are stacked. It specifically looks at the Stencil channel. This is in preparation for the tutorial which shows how to create key overlays for the actual phone rendering.
