UV mapping and taking the edge into account

In this UV mapping tutorial I discuss subdivided UVs. I show how to take the edge of a subdivision surface object into account when generating a bitmap that needs to closely match the subdivided object edge.

    I’ve always wondered why Strata could not export a .jpg file (or even an .eps – why not) from the UV Edit screen, to the format and resolution you want. This would be a very interesting feature. Unless you have another trick ?
