Great tutorial Chris, I’ve never used IK before. I am wondering if this would be a great way to fold up boxes for packaging. Years ago I watched a tutorial on Modo weight maps to fold up a box, the benefit being if you needed to adjust something that was hard to get at after the assembly you just turned of the deformation, then back on. This looks like I could do the same thing in Strata with IK instead of manually rotating polys – which is basically a destructive operation.
